[Rebus makes himself comfortable]
[Chatting with Gran and Poppa]
[A Sunday afternoon, midwinter]
[Rearranging the furniture]
[After a lovely dinner with Kylie and the Trudeaus (delicious pizza, KKP!), ADF got a little rambunctious.]
[Fog off the Rideau River, Highway 16 near Manotick]

[Back to Limerick Forest]
[There's been a ladybug hanging around the house for a couple of days; today, ADF got a chance to inspect it closely. And sorry about the quality of the second shot - the macro feature can be a bit tempermental.]
[See, I've never really grown up. I still harbour the slim hope that if I don a baseball jersey, I might somehow become a professional baseball player. This is my latest attempt: a brand new, hyper-authentic Ichiro Suzuki jersey. A little pathetic, I know.]
[ADF in the snow]
[As resourceful as she is agile]
[Fenceline, Glenburnie, ON]
[Hard at work]
[Our new salt pig, which we love. Thank you, L+N.]
[Cornfield, County Rd. 44, near Kemptville]
[ADF in the igloo (tent), in the living room]
[Warm air + cold snow = dense fog] [An 18 wheeler emerging from the fog, Beach Rd, near Oxford Mills]
[ADF in the sunroom]
[Hearing forecasts of above-freezing temperatures and even rain this coming weekend, we wanted to get out into the deep, soft snow before the opportunity escaped us. So we did some XC skiing (top; I did the work, ADF rode shotgun), some sledding (not pictured), and finally some plain old frolicking (bottom). ADF didn't want to go back inside.]
[Poppa and ADF play with the Mega Bloks while the storm continues outside]
[More snow. Happy New Year.]
